Met a pretty girl tonight. I’ve met her before, but i’d never noticed quite how pretty she was.
I invited her out for a drink tonight, she said she’d be out, which is sort of a “mehhhh, I guess we could drink” - Time to chuck the dice and play the game, see what happens.

I’m not recently prone to angst, my recent loss of “teenage” status loses me the luxury of “teenage angst”. Still, I like to have a crack now and again, and Tumblr is suitably isolated from my regular life enough that I can tuck it away.
I find myself increasingly unhappy with my station in life. Despite the fact i’m happy with my “official” job...

Really? See, I hated being 16. I mean, I had a good group of friends, but really only a few of them have ever stayed with me and still respect me as a friend 4 years later. I miss not having to worry about anything serious, I miss having a disposable income.
I hated my school, I hated the academic restrictions they imposed...
Been having a think about old times. I kinda miss being 16, when i earnt my weeks wage in a friday night of work, lived for free and my only worry was agonising over the girl i like (who, coincidentally, knew, but was not interested. Story of my life :p)
Sometimes, I wish i hadn’t had to grow up. hehe.

Here i sit
In my ivory tower. Its day 3 of quarantine, and i havent seen another human soul in days. I havent even used my voice in 2 and a half days.
Getting mighty lonely here, i’m using the time im actually awake [sleeping like, 12-16 hours a day right now] to clean and tidy stuff, try and sort myself out, ready for work again next wednesday i assume.

So, After Fridays mammoth split shift, I went out to the venue at work to have a few drinks with the guys.
